2001 ~ Year of the Snake I started working full-time for Foxberry (RIP 2003), a local ISP, managing their web department. I wanted some account management experience and they dropped it in my lap. I was in charge of prospecting, locking down contracts, planning projects, building all the sites, and running the web servers. Kinda like I do now actually, only back then I didn't know a whole lot. It was a heavy load for one guy, but I benefitted from the experience. It helped me gain the "big picture" view of web projects. If I'd known what I know now, I would have included money for pro designers into the site budgets so that the sites would have had more of a professional look-and-feel. But everything turned out well and all the clients were happy.
